Torchbearers: UC Alumni Spotlight – DK3 Tulliong

As part of our Nation Builders feature this May: Health & Labor – Public Service & Well-Being, we recognize UC alumni whose work champions both service to the nation and the holistic well-being of communities.

Meet DK3 Marvin S. Tulliong PN (Res), a proud UC alumnus whose journey reflects the dignity of labor and the essence of public service. From launching his own fitness instruction services—promoting physical, mental, and emotional wellness—to serving in the Philippine Navy Reserve, he embodies a life dedicated to strengthening both individuals and communities.

✨“After years at the University of the Cordilleras, I can confidently say you are in good hands. UC is more than just a school—it is a home that shapes who you are meant to be.”

Rooted in UC’s values and excellence, integrity, and quality service, he carries these principles into every role—whether in fitness, creative industries, or military service. His work in community outreach programs in Baguio and beyond highlights how labor, when driven by purpose, becomes a powerful force for public good.

His story reminds us that true success is not only measured by personal achievements, but by the lives we uplift and the communities we serve.
