This month’s Torchbearers: UC Alumni Spotlight is especially inspiring as we celebrate the theme of National Nutrition & Resilience Month: Security & Wellness!

We are incredibly proud to feature Mr. Jasper R. Bidos (BS Nursing, Class of 2023), whose journey from a nursing graduate at the University of the Cordilleras to a dedicated advocate for justice and governance embodies the true spirit of a purpose-driven professional.

Having served as a University Nurse at UC and the former SK Chairman of Loakan Liwanag (2022–2024), Mr. Bidos has demonstrated remarkable versatility. By diving into rigorous legal training to pursue his Juris Doctor degree, he is beautifully bridging the gap between clinical practice and legal advocacy. His multi-faceted leadership also shone bright when he represented our community with honor as Mr. UC Diamond Jubilee 2022!

As Mr. Bidos shares with our current students: “Never fear the paths that challenge and inspire you; though the journey is rarely easy, the lessons learned here will prepare you for greater opportunities.”
